Cafe Freud
Viennese coffeehouse tradition combined with a smart furnishing concept: here, the flair of yesteryear meets the design of today.
The former home of its namesake is located in the adjacent building and now houses the Sigmund Freud Museum, which was recently renovated and expanded. We recommend a visit not only to tourists: the exhibition there offers extremely interesting insights into the life of the world-famous founder of psychoanalysis and one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century.
Sigmund Freud’s silhouette is adorning the wall of our large guest room – a tribute to the great personality who had to leave Austria after the German troops invaded in 1938.
